Trae (5- Year Old Boy)
The youngest of the friends, kind-hearted Trae has all of the innocence of a just-turned-5-year-old. He views the world through his bright green glasses and with a sense of curiosity and wonder.
Magical Feature:
With the touch of a button, Trae's glasses become super cool laser goggles!
Favorite Pastime:
Trae's favorite game is Trae's I Spy. Keep a sharp eye out when Trae turns on his laser goggles and says, "I spy with my laser eye..."
Sounder (Dog)
Sounder, a friendly pup with one ear perked, is always ready to listen for sounds! Her five bands of color spell out the sounds in her name. Whenever her friends are in need of a sound, she leaps into action - circling an object and changing her bands of color to match the sounds in the word.
Sound Snatcher (Racoon)
The Sound Snatcher is a ball of energy - literally! When he's not zipping around in one of his super-cool vehicles like his helicopter or his Sound Snatcher mobile, he's dropping into a ball and zooming out of sight!
Sound Snatcher's a bit shy. He's always welcomed and accepted by the other friends, but usually prefers to stay on the periphery. He's never far from the action, though. You'll find him peeking out from behind a tree, hiding in a bucket of baseballs, or even flying overhead in his blimp!
Magical Feature:
Sound Snatcher's magical feature is his twirling tail that spins at cyclone speed. He uses it to snatch and switch sounds in words... and to power his jet ski!
Favorite Pastime:
Curious and impulsive by nature, Sound Snatcher never means to cause trouble. But his favorite pastime of snatching and switching sounds always has unexpected and comical results!
Sky (6-Year Old Girl)
Spunky and confident, Sky is a great friend to have on your team! Supportive and attentive to her friends' feelings, she springs into action with a take-charge attitude whenever there's a problem to be solved.
Magical Feature:
The butterfly clip in Sky's hair isn't just for show. It's her magical feature! Whenever she presses it, two butterflies flutter up to do her bidding.
Favorite pastime:
Sky's favorite game is SKY SOUNDS. When Sky says; "Butterflies, flutter by!" get ready to play the Sounder & Friends™ version of Simon Says! Sky's butterflies will change color with each sound as she directs you to c-l-a-p your hands, s-p-i-n around, or go p-l-a-y!
Will (7-Year Old Boy)
The oldest of the group, calm, laid back, athletic Will, is the leader of the pack. He has an easy disposition, a never-give-up attitude, and a great sense of humor.
Magical Feature:
Will uses a joystick to control his electric wheel-chair. And when he's not zig-zagging around playing tag with his friends, his joystick transforms into a magic wand!
Favorite Pastime:
Will's favorite pastime is playing Will's Sound Swap. When he brandishes his magic wand and says, "Watch me make something appear! Abracadabra!", you'll know he's going to switch some sounds to form a new word. Listen carefully, though, since Will loves to play tricks! He'll make you laugh by mixing silly-sounding nonsense words in with real words.
